The Wolf and the Lion

A wolf, having stolen a lamb from a farm, was carrying him off to his lair. He met a lion on the path. Flaunting his power, the lion seized the lamb from the wolf.

Standing at a safe distance, the Wolf exclaimed, "You're despicable to take away what was mine!"

To which the Lion jeeringly replied, "It was righteously yours, eh? The gift of a friend?"

Moral

When one's way is not righteous, there's no room for argument even if one has been treated unfairly.
